<Abstract>

Phase controlled class E^2 dc/dc converter composed of phase controlled class E inverter and class E rectifier is designed in this research. In addition, to miniaturize the circuit, we propose to couple the input inductance and the inductor in the resonant circuit, respectively. The change in the characteristic when the number of cores is reduced is considered by the circuit experiment. When the input inductor and the coil in the resonant circuit are coupled respectively, the measured efficiency is over 82% with 6.2W output power at an operating frequency of 1MHz.
