Operation of class DE amplifier outside optimum conditions <Abstract> In this paper, we present an exact analysis of class DE amplifier outside optimum conditions. From the analysis, we derive analytical expressions of waveform equations. By using waveform equations, we derive initial values of current and voltage, switch voltage and the slope of the switch voltage, output voltage and power conversion efficiency in steady state. We denote the behavior of class DE amplifier which occurs by variations of operating frequency, switch on duty ratio, input voltage and load resistance. We indicate that the theoretical results mostly matched with experimental results. |
