Analytical expressions for RTS/CTS wireless multihop networks <Abstract> In this paper, analytical expressions of the maximum throughput as well as the collision probability in string wireless multihop networks with Request to Send / Clear to Send (RTS/CTS) are given. The end-to-end throughput is obtained from the collision probability and the carrier-sensing duration induced by neighboring and hidden nodes. Simulation results verify and validate the proposed analytical expressions. |
