<Abstract>

This paper proposes a MAC protocol using multiple control-channels for multi-channel ad-hoc network. In the proposed protocol, all channels are divided into some control-channels and DATA-frame-transmission channels belong in to each control channel. All nodes follow a pre-defined sequence by hopping the control-channels for searching receiver. Because of using multiple control-channels, the single control-channel bottleneck problem is mitigated. Additionally, the rendezvous overhead of the proposed protocol is smaller than that of the multiple rendezvous method because the number of the channel for searching a receiver decreases. Simulation results demonstrate the validity and effectiveness of the proposed protocol.b
