<Abstract>

Due to growth of multi-media applications, such as video streaming and voice, importance of supporting Quality of Service(QoS) is rapidly increasing. Wireless multi-hop networks show complex dynamics because each node works individually in the networks. Therefore, supporting QoS in wireless multi-hop networks is more complicated than that of WLANs. This paper presents non-saturated and saturated throughput analysis for IEEE 802.11e Enhanced Distributed Channel Access(EDCA) multi-hop networks. Difference of CWmin , CWmax and AIF SN among access categories(ACs), and internal collisions are considered. The validities of the analytical expressions are confirmed from the quantitative agreements between the analytical and simulation results.
