<Abstract>

This paper presents a design procedure of wireless power transfer system based on class-mathrmD 2 converter, taking into account load variations and coupling-coil misalignment. By using a push-pull inverter, even harmonic components of the resonant current is removed and the influence from the asymmetric switch voltage is eliminated. Appropriate parameters are determined by drawing the distribution maps of the switch- ing pattern and contour maps of the output voltage on the parameter spaces using analytical expressions. The validity of the analytical expressions and effectiveness of the control strategy were confirmed from quantitative agreements with experimental waveforms.
