<Abstract>

This paper proposes a parallel resonant oscillator that has load-independent characteristics. Namely, the proposed oscillator is the first oscillator, which achieves the constant output voltage and the soft switching condition against the load variations. The feedback-network topology does not have a resonant structure with an inductor, threfore a constant output voltage and soft switching condition can be also achieved against the resonant inductance and/or capacitance variations by self-tuing the free-runnning frequency. Experiment evaluations are presented. The theoretical prediction agreed with experimental results quantitatively, which showed the validity of the proposal gives in this paper.
