Heuristic Algorithm-Based Design Method for Class-E Switching Circuits <Abstract> A novel numerical design strategy of the class-E switching converters is present in this work. By applying the heuristic algorithm, the system design can be completed automatically with only circuit differential equations. Compared with previous researches, there is no restriction on the number of design parameters. Additionally, there is no need for initial guess for the system convergency. As a design example, a 25 W, 13.56 MHz laboratory prototype of the WPT system with the load-independent class-EF inverter was implemented. The implemented system achieved stable output voltage and ZVS against load variations.
