<Abstract>

This study presents the analysis and design of the class-E frequency doubler with robustness to load variations. The proposed doubler achieves the Zero Voltage Switching (ZVS) and constant output voltage against load variations. The analytical expressions show the theoretical conditions for achieving robustness theoretically. The implemented frequency doubler, which was designed by following the analytical suggestions, achieved the ZVS and the constant output voltage against load variations. The effectiveness of the class-E frequency doubler and the validity of the presented analysis could be confirmed from the quantitative agreements between the experiment and theory
