<Abstract>

This paper presents a novel design method for electronic circuit. Compared with the conventional method, the derivation of Jacobian matrix is changed. In the proposed algorithm, Jacobian matrix used to Newton method is derived by approximate calculations that are based on the definition of partial differential. From this change, it is unnecessary to derive variational equations in the design procedure. Therefore, it is also unnecessary to derive circuit equations explicitly. Since the proposed method requires only a circuit topology and response of the circuit, it is possible to apply an existing circuit simulator, for example SPICE, to our design method. Therefore, all procedures of the design can be carried out with aid of computer and it is expected that the efficiency of circuits?f development is improved dramatically by using the proposed design method.
