Evolutionary Topology and Parameter Synthesis of Resonant Converters Using a Hybrid Algorithm
This paper proposes a hybrid optimization method for a mixed-optimization problem that combines circuit topology and circuit parameters. The proposed method adopts a hierarchical structure. The outer loop employs NSGA-II, and the inner loop applies parameter optimization via a genetic algorithm to the newly generated topology. We applied the proposed method to the design of a Class-E inverter. Consequently, we obtained solutions that include the conventional Class-E inverter and derived novel circuit topologies that demonstrate higher efficiency than the conventional ones. These results confirmed the effectiveness of the proposed method. |
