<Abstract>

This paper proposes a decentralized coordinatebased peer selection system for Ethereum-based IoT blockchains. Expanding the evaluation range to all discovered peers improves the chance of selecting lowlatency paths. The system uses a Vivaldi-based virtual coordinate system (VCS) and selects peers based on clusters of VCS to balance latency and connectivity. An implementation with libp2p and Ethereum Prysm reduces average block propagation latency by 13.8 % in a 60-node high-latency environment.
