<Abstract>

This paper presents a class-EM amplifier with one input signal, along with its design procedure and experimental results. In the proposed amplifier, the main circuit is operated by the feedback voltage from the output voltage. Moreover, the ZVS class-E frequency doubler is applied to the auxiliary circuit. Therefore, the proposed class-EM amplifier can be operated by one input signal whose frequency is the same as that of output voltage. Experimental results agree with the calculated one quantitatively, which denotes the validity of the design procedure. In the laboratory experiment, the proposed class-EM amplifier achieved 92.5 % power conversion efficiency at 13.3 W output power and 3.5 MHz frequency operation.
