<Abstract>

Class E amplifier, which is a power amplifier with switching characteristics. Since the switching conditions must be satisfied on the steady state, determining the passive elements included in the circuit is difficult. The PSO algorithm for designing the class E amplifier has been improved in this paper. It is confirmed that the PSO with local connection is better than the standard one.
