Operation of class-E^2 DC-DC converter outside nominal conditions <Abstract> In this paper, a steady-state analysis of the class-E^2 dc-dc converter outside the class-E zero-voltage switching and zero-derivative switching (ZVS/ZDS) conditions is presented. Steady-state behaviors of the class- E^2 dc-dc converter outside class-E ZVD/ZDS conditions can be investigated by using the analytical expressions derived in this paper. By carrying out the circuit experiments, it is shown that the analytical predictions agree with the experimental results quantitatively, which validates the accuracy of our analytical expressions. |
