<Abstract>

The magnetic component design is a traditional problem and several design procedures were proposed in the power electronics. But there are no well-established criteria for selecting the core for the design of inductors . As the solution to solve this problem, A p method and K g method are proposed. By using proposed method, designer can select the optimum core from numerous cores. But in previous studies, caluculation process is required. So it takes a lot of time and caluclation costs. This paper presents the inductor optimization software equipped with the A p method and K g method. By using the proposed software, it is possible to reduce the time and caluclation costs. Furthermore by using self-made circuit simulator, the current flowing through the inductor is acquired, and it is possible to design an inductor of all circuits from a single definition formula. This paper presents a design example of class-E amplifier including a R F -choke inductor and a resonant inductor.
