<Abstract>

For inductive coupled wireless power transfer systems, it is significant to maximize the transfer efficiency by optimization design of the system under restrictions of coil sizes. However, it takes several parameters for modeling a set of coils such as numbers of turns, diameters of copper wires, and numbers of layers, which lead to a high computation cost. In this research, we present GPU-based fast optimization program of the WPT system for maximizing efficiency. The program runs in parallel and can derive all circuit parameters, including the geometric design of coils. Taking advantage of GPU, it can effectively decrease the execution time. Additionally, the circuit experiment was carried out in order to verify the validity of the proposed design program. The experimental resultshowed agreement with the design result.
