<Abstract>

In the Internet of Things (IoT), a small amount of payment (i.e., micropayment) enables trading sensor data collected by IoT devices. IOTA cryptocurrency shows the potential to realize such micropayment. IOTA allows high-speed transactions without transaction fees. This paper introduces an IOTAbased micropayment system for IoT devices (i.e., Raspberry Pi), assuming an air quality monitoring application. We implement the system and evaluate the latency performance and power consumption.
