<Abstract>

This study presents the implementation of the Wireless Brain-Inspired Computing (WiBIC) system, a new distributed information processing platform that is a hybrid of Spiking Neural Network (SNN) and IoT network.For realizing the WiBIC system, SNN links should be wireless. We propose applying the Asynchronous Pulse Code Multiple Access (APCMA), the cutting-edge IoT communication protocol, to the WiBIC system. The APCMA protocol can keep spike-generation-time information and provides stable learning of the wireless SNN. We implemented a WiBIC system with distance-measuring sensors, FPGAs,and wireless communication devices and applied it to learnthe XOR function. Experimental results demonstrate that the implemented WiBIC system has the ability of learning and real-time processing of environmental information.
