<Abstract>

This paper presents throughput analysis on string multi-hop networks with multiple flow. In our analysis, the influence of collision and carrier sensing mechanism in the crisscross topology is clarified analytically. Moreover, the bottleneck link of this topology is proved, and the maximum throughput is derived. The validity of our analysis is confirmed by the simulation results. The simulation results show that the approximate maximum throughput of the networks is obtained if offered load is controlled at the maximum throughput derived by our analysis.
