<Abstract>

Due to the rapid growth of the ubiquity of IEEE 802.11 MAC for wireless multi-hop networks, it is necessary to provide delay guarantees by an analytical model. This paper presents analytical expressions for the string topology non-saturated wireless multi-hop network with hidden- node problem. In this paper, transmission and collision probabilities of each node are derived considered with hidden-node problem. By using these probabilities, end-to-end delay can be obtained. The validities of the analytical expressions are confirmed from the agreements between the analytical and simulation results.
