<Abstract>

In this paper, analytical model for IEEE 802.11 multi-hop network taking into account DCF mechanism are introduced. By combining airtime concept and Bianchi model, the relationship between the duration for backoff timer decrement and that for frame transmission can be considered. Maximum throughput of multi-hop network for any frame size is obtained. Obtained analytical expressions are verified by the comparison with simulation results.
