<Abstract>

Request to Send/Clear to Send (RTS/CTS) is effective for avoiding frame collisions caused by hidden terminals. How- ever, the overhead problem occurs due to the RTS/CTS hand- shake processes. This paper proposes analytical expressions of throughput and delay for the wireless multi-hop network with RTS/CTS. The obtained analytical expressions are valid for two-way flow traffics including one-way flow. The an- alytical expressions are verified by showing the quantitative agreements with simulation results.
