<Abstract>

This paper proposes an analytical model for network throughput of WLANs in presence of capture effect. The airtime concept is applied for WLAN analysis with the capture effect. By applying airtime concept, it is possible to express the throughput considering the impact of the capture effect for each node. The validity of the obtained model is confirmed by comparisons with simulation results.
