Toward Decentralized Infrastructure for
Future Internet of Things <Abstract> This talk presents the necessity of decentralizing the Internet infrastructure for the future Internet of Things (IoT). We emphasize why the decentralization is important for both networking and computing infrastructure to meet the IoT requirements. We then layout research challenges toward the decentralization. We briefly introduce several ongoing related works that include the specific, potential technologies, namely edge computing, the blockchain, network virtualization. |
