<Abstract>

In Wi-Fi networks, the bufferbloat problem, which produces undesired latency in packet transmission due to the oversized buffer, is critical. Hence, a supporting plat- form for evaluating and quantifying the bufferbloat issue is essential. This paper introduces an investigation of bufferloat in Wi-Fi networks using an emulator that relies on mininet - wifi. The proposed set of tool and measurement methods have been proved to give good evidence of bufferbloat in Wi-Fi networks in time and resources saving manner.
