<Abstract>

This paper presents new analytical expressions of throughput for IEEE 802.11 DCF tree-topology networks at any offered loads. The presented analytical model incorporates relay-node operations into an IEEE 802.11-based network analysis using airtime concept. The validity of the analytical expressions is confirmed by the quantitative agreement between the analytical and simulation results.
