<Abstract>

In the future, mobile clients should make monetary transactions for Quality of Service (QoS) provision on a per service or per-network flow basis (i.e., paying only for the used amount). The critical factors in such a scenario include transaction speed and fees. The previous work has shown the feasibility of such a QoS-guaranteed system by using Software Defined Networking (SDN) and the fee-less cryptocurrency IOTA (i.e., the Tangle-a distributed ledger technology). However, the system uses the so-called public Tangle, with may incur unexpected events such as delays. This research investigates the system's operation of the QoS-guaranteed system with the private Tangle/IOTA. We implement and evaluate the system with the IOTA settings. The results show that the private IOTA could achieve fast transactions of less than one second.
