First, the noise detection phase of the Fuzzy Impulse Noise Detection and Reduction Method (FINDRM) is used to determine whether a pixel is an impulse or not. When the pixel is determined as an impulse noise, the FINDRM with the directional difference is used to restore the impulse noise. Second, Gaussian noise is removed by using the BSF, which considers the relationships between wavelet coefficients in the DT-CWT domain. Applying the proposed framework to an image corrupted by mixed noise, a clean image can be obtained. |
