Generalized performance analysis of Class-EF inverter <Abstract> This study analyze the operation of the class-EF inverter. The class-EF inverters achieve high efficiency operation at high frequencies. The class-EF inverters are sensitive to component values, and if, for example, the component values of the load or resonant filter fluctuate, the waveform change significantly and efficiency deteriorate. Previous analyses have focused on nominal operation in the rated state and have not analyzed operation for conditions outside of that state. The derived analytical equations are used to visualize the characteristics of the inverter on the parameter space. The quantitative agreement with the experimental results indicates the validity and validity of this analysis. |
