
Short Bio

Kien Nguyen received his B.E. in Electronics and Telecommunication from Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST), Vietnam and Ph.D. in Informatics from the Graduate University for Advanced Studies, Japan in 2004 and 2012, respectively. He is currently an associate professor at Institute for Advanced Academic Research and the Graduate School of Engineering of Chiba University. His research interests include Internet technologies, wireless communication, and Internet of Things (IoTs). Dr. Nguyen has co-authored 130+ publications in peer-reviewed journals and conferences, three patents, and Internet drafts. He is a member of IEICE and a senior member of IEEE. He is also involving in IETF activities.
